Presenter: Steve Penner, Eng. L. - Senior Project Manger – Eastern Region, Manitoba Infrastructure
Presenter Bio:
Steve Penner has been a senior project manager with Manitoba Infrastructure for more than 10 years, and has been involved in the design and contract administration of some of the largest and most complex concrete pavement projects in the Province. He is a graduate of Red River College from their Civil Engineering Technology program, and is a recent recipient of a Specified Scope of Practice License from Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.
Steve has been involved in a variety of projects with Manitoba infrastructure including the 18th Street Bridges in Brandon, CentrePort Canada Way, the PTH 75 Flood Protection Project, and the Emerson Port of Entry. He has been involved in the implementation of several new concrete pavement initiatives within the Province such as the introduction of Drainable Stable Base, the International Roughness Index, and Realtime Smoothness.
